The Continuous Spraying Manual mode (AKA Waypoint following mode) is a feature specific to the Fruit tree mapping application. In either Terra software or the T40’s mapping function this mode can be utilized to create some interesting flight paths.
Designed for horticultural applications, Waypoint following mode directs the T40 from point to point in a straight line.
By placing waypoints at the start, Pivots/elbows and finish point, DJI’s terra strings them together and where ever the purple highlights are, the T40 will apply product.
This capability makes it great for Spraying Vineyards, Orchards, Creek or Fencelines and awkward shapes such as an overgrown road.
This function is also available in the Spot Spraying mode where it will only spray the waypoints. When the Rotary Spraying option is enabled the T40 will rotate and apply product to the waypoints.
By just using this one feature there are a multitude of options, which can cater for so many applications.
