Aerial Broadcasting/
Seeding
AERIAL BRADCASTING IS VERY EFFICIENT!

Aerial Broadcasting or Seeding is a very efficient way to apply Solid Product.
Being “Non-destructive” means zero damage or ground compaction!
Using the Seeder attachment on the T40, I take advantage of the amazing technologies Built into the DJI AGRAS platform.
This allows for even, accurate distribution of solid products accross the treatment site.

If it's a Small job?
For smaller jobs, Built-in flight modes like “Manual Plus” or ” A-B Route” are Ideal for straight forward Broadcasting.
By mapping with the T40’s FPV camera, I am able to flight plan onsite up to 5 hectares.
This is a great option for treating small complex sites that are hilly and have many trees.
Got a large Job ?
For large, complex jobs I use the DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral drone to map the site.

This provides me with essential data to create safe and efficient flight paths for my T40 to follow.

Once flight routes are uploaded on the T40’s Remote, I start the seeding process by selecting one.

This results in a fully Autonomous production cycle, where all I have to do is swap batteries and refill the Spreader attachment.
I can also design flight routes to apply Granulated products over trees!

This allows for less dilution of product because it filters through directly onto the ground.

What can be applied by Drone ?
The T40’s spreader attachment handle’s solid material up to 5mm in diametre, with a payload of up to 50 kgs

Materials like Seeds, Grain, Baits and Granulated products can all be easily Broadcasted using my T40’s spreading system.

So where do we start ?
I usually start by asking, what’s the area size? the terrain? Location? some satelite images off “Six Maps” or “Google” of the treatment area. Mobile phone shots of the current situation. Some sites are too difficult to build a mental picture of and may require a “Site visit” (Don’t worry it’s free)
All this info allows me to understand the scope of the project, and to determine what is the best way to attack it!
