Aerial Spreading by Drone
We Spread solid products by Drone
Got hills? Creeks? or Rocky country? no problem! with our mighty T40 it’s just effortless and precise application from the air. Applying Granule, Grain, Seed or Pellets with our Drone is a game changer!! No bogged or damaged ground vehicles just heaps of hectares covered in a day!
The T40's Spreader
With a payload of 50 kg’s the DJI T40 spreader handles solid material up to 5 mm in diametre. After accurate calibration the Spreader will adjust its feed rate for less material wastage and even coverage throughout the treatment site. The spread width is easily changed by adjusting the drones height above ground and RPM of the spinning disk.
Our DJI T40 has many modes
The T40 has many automated flight modes making any job quick and simple to complete. This mighty machine also has the ability to map using it’s FPV camera, which allows for accurate fully automated flight routes up to 5 hectares.

If its a large job, I use the Small but powerful Mavic 3 Multispectral which easily maps up to 40 hectares per battery. We can even do Prescription application to crops, by utilizing Mavic’s Multispectral sensors! and uploading custom flight paths onto the T40.

So, What can be applied with the Spreader?
There are Literally 100’s of solid products out there being applied by drone! The T40’s spreader can handle solid material up to 5mm in diametre. Things like Fertilizers, Crops, Herbicides and Baits, If it’s appraved to be applied by air we can spread it!
So, what’s involved?
I usually start by asking, what’s the area size? the terrain? Location? some satelite images off “Six Maps” or “Google” of the treatment area. Mobile phone shots of the current situation. Some sites are too difficult to build a mental picture of and may require a “Site visit” (Don’t worry it’s free)
All this info allows me to understand the scope of the project, and to determine what is the best way to attack it!
